- Operation Peace was started when a group of girls in grade five saw how many troubles there are in the world. Even if we can help one child we have made a difference. Their goal is to raise $10,000 through various activities to give to the less fortunate children of Hogar Fatima, an orphanage in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. They decided to support Hogar Fatima because one of their group members lived there until she was 3 years old. The children there do not have nutritious food, good clothing or even medicine. Their goal is to help change the problems of Hogar Fatima and help make the lives of the children a little bit better.
- Great Harbour's mission is to provide programs enabling spiritual growth and healing,within an open, supportive environment, drawing from ancient and contemporary wisdom. Great Harbour embraces programs given by a variety of people from different traditions, backgrounds and training. The programs have a wide base in spiritual disciplines. The programs are offered at Bedford United Church and Stairs Memoria United Church.
- The Dartmouth North Community Centre (DNCC) is located at 134 Pinecrest Drive, in Dartmouth's North end.
